This document provides an updated summary of research carried out into all reported enclosed space related fatalities across all ship types for the 25-year period from 2000 to 2024. It aims to support the provisions of the Revised recommendations for entering enclosed spaces aboard ships (resolution A.1050(27)), as amended, and to help address time pressures inherent in the shipping industry.
